Among Queen's Wharf's dining and drinking destinations, Cucina
Regina also joins the Vietnamese- and Thai-leaning Lúc Lắc, the Latin American-inspired Azteca,
plus Cicada Blu, Babblers and Aloria up on the 100-metre-high Sky Deck.
Whether you're tucking into puffed pizza bread as a starter, stone-baked
prosciutto- or garlic prawn-laden slices, a 40-day dry-aged scotch rib fillet or the Brisbane menu must-have that
is Moreton Bay bugs, you'll likely be enjoying something from
the woodfired grill. Trattorias are a big influence
on the restaurant's look, feel and menu, with
Australian design studio Tom Mark Henry in charge of the neutral-heavy fitout (which covers an 18-person private-dining space as
well) and Italian-born Chef Davide Incardona overseeing the kitchen as Executive Chef.
At the 160-seat Cucina Regina — which is part of The Terrace, the
riverfront space at the end of the Neville Bonner Bridge before
visitors get to The Star Brisbane — the menu isn't just about Italian food; it's about comforting Italian fare.
Hand-stretched pizzas, homemade pasta, panna
cotta from dessert trolleys, and Italian wine and cocktails are all on the
menu at Brisbane's first Cucina outpost.
"Boasting breathtaking sights and electrifying entertainment, Cicada Blu is sure to beckon both locals and travellers with its exotic elixirs and bold botanical infusions – perfect for pre-dinner aperitifs, post-dinner rendezvous or to simply toast the high life".
Taking centre stage on Sky Deck, Cicada Blu is a
captivating day-to-night destination that moves
to the rhythm of the city".
The Star's signature cocktail bar Cherry, companion to the Sydney and Gold Coast venues of the same name, has come our way, pouring creative cocktails in a stunning, sophisticated setting, perfect for post-dinner drinks and more. The snack menu is primed for a sunset aperitivo, and the decadent tiramisu is served tableside. The restaurant’s new digs at The Star serve up house signatures – including the iconic Fat Pho – to long-time lovers and new fans alike. The dengakuman toothfish with a sweet miso glaze was also masterminded at the Sydney venue, where it’s become a firm favourite. Indulge in a seasonal curated menu designed to be shared, complemented by free-flowing beverages, all set against a backdrop of sophisticated ambiance. Prepare for an evening of intrigue as you step inside a venue inspired by Latin America with touches of Asian fusion. Marbled Angus and Wagyu steaks are still a staple on the menu of course, but they’re now joined with a hefty line up of seafood options, including cold seafood platters, lobster mornay and grilled Mooloolaba king prawns.
Instead, it’s straight up to the stunning panoramic views stretching from the city to Moreton Bay that make Aloria the pinnacle of a Brisbane rooftop dining experience. Most recently, as Executive Chef at QT Newcastle, Mansfield oversaw five venues before returning home to Brisbane to lead The Star Brisbane’s Sky Deck trio. My dining experience was drawn from the banquet menu, which started with the Aloria Signature Caviar and Martini experience. Showcasing Queensland’s finest dry-aged beef and seafood, the menu highlights the best of local, seasonal produce through time-honoured woodfire and grill techniques.

to Love" as their second act performance in the episode "The Rhodes Not Taken".
In 2007, Queen featured as one of the main artists in the
fifth episode of the BBC/VH1 series Seven Ages of Rock—focusing on stadium rock, the episode
itself was named "We Are the Champions". The latter also appears in Family Guy, as
does "Another One Bites the Dust", and an episode of
the show, "Killer Queen", is named after (and features) the song.
The Simpsons has made storylines which have featured Queen songs such as "We Will Rock You", "We Are the Champions"
(both sung by Homer), and "You're My Best Friend".
With an entry for the year 1977, Queen featured in the VH1 series
I Love the '70s, broadcast in the US. The song
has featured in the BBC television show Top Gear, and in 2005 it was voted as "The Greatest Driving Song Ever" by the
series' viewers.
The film has grossed over $900 million worldwide,
making it the highest-grossing musical biographical
film of all time. Their hit "Bohemian Rhapsody" was featured in Rock Band 3 with full harmony and keys support.
A Night at the Opera was re-released with some revised 5.1 mixes and accompanying videos in 2005 for the 30th anniversary of the album's original release (CD+DVD-Video set).
